Nashvillians (and Huntsvillians and Jacksonians and other nearby folks) have another low-cost option out of BNA now. Jet Blue announced today it will begin nonstop service to JFK from Nashville on August 31. Although I’ve never flown with them, I hear great things, especially since they offer XM Satellite Radio and DIRECTV on all flights. They also fly newer planes and have excellent customer service. And, from JFK in New York, you can get just about anywhere cheaply, even to Puerto Rico. But can they give Southwest a run for their money?
