Name the Place

Alright, here’s this week’s installment. Name that place:

100 Oaks

Okay, just kidding. Seriously, now:

hallway

UPDATE: Jill wins, correctly identifying the hallway in the Market Street Emporium, currently home of Windows on the Cumberland, Nightowl Cafe, and Cafe O2 downstairs. (Our office is right upstairs.)

UPDATE 2: A little birdie told me there are big changes coming in the tenancy of the first two floors of this building, too, and I’m not too happy about what I’ve heard. Hopefully more on this soon..

Hm.. I’m gonna have to go to the judges on this one, aaaaaand: They say no..

The arcade is on 4th. But this shot is indeed from somewhere on 2nd. You’re halfway there.

I will go ahead and exempt myself from this one.

However, I would like to add that you can’t even tell that the grout in those bricks is painted on. It looks like they did a nice job on the floor too.

Isn’t that on 2nd, where you walk past the ice cream shop up front (or it used to be an ice cream shop anyway, if it isn’t anymore) towards Windows in the Cumberland at the back? And there used to be a tattoo shop down those stairs (not sure if it’s still there).

The walls look pretty good from a distance.. I am not sure how long that paint will last, though. They really cheaped out.

I incorrectly typed Windows IN the Cumberland when I meant ON the Cumberland. My mistake. In high school, we used to tell our parents we were going to eat at the Spaghetti Factory, but really would go to Windows to uh, hang out. They never carded. Not sure if it’s still like that or not. Windows lost its appeal once I was legal.

    They card now, Jill. :)

Chris, the changes there are good and bad. It’s good for at least one of those businesses… and it will be good for downtown.

And… now that I learned the rest of the story… I know what you meant… crap.
