Coming Soon: Five Guys

In my mind, there is no food better than a juicy hamburger, and I am happy to report today that Five Guys Famous Burgers and Fries is officially coming to Nashville. The new outpost of D.C.’s favorite burger joint, which was actually started by five friends in a Washington suburb a few years back, will be at the corner of West End Ave. and 21st Ave. That’s the new retail development on the old Fuddrucker’s/Salathai site that will also feature a T.G.I. Friday’s and a Jason’s Deli. For those of you who haven’t had the pleasure of enjoying a Five Guys burger, get ready for a meaty and mouthwatering heart attack on a bun. Delicious!

As a soon-to-be transplant from DC, I can assure you they are.

Five Guys elevates the creation of the classic american burger to the level of an art form. There are only 4 or 5 things actually on the menu - including fries that will leave you astounded how you ever got along without them.

It’s typical to walk to Five Guys for lunch and by the time you get back to your office, the bag will be transparent. It’s a good thing, a very good thing.
