Champagne for my real friends, real pain for my sham friends

No one knows Nashville like the Metroblogging reading audience, so here’s a question for you: where should my female coworkers and I go to hang out, talk and laugh, and — here’s the real question — sip champagne? Of course I mean small-c champagne, not real, big-c Champagne – as in sparkling wine that’s tasty and bubbly but won’t set us back a few Benjamins. But a good selection would be nice, and a fun environment is a must.

I thought of Rumours Wine Bar on 12th South, but I can only remember them having one or two sparklies, so not much of a selection. Someone suggested Bound’ry, and someone else suggested The Trace, but I don’t know what either of their wine lists look like.

Where would you recommend?

How about the upstairs bar at Sambuca? I should have mentioned this last night. I know it’s sort of cliche, but the outside patio is perfect for you and your coworkers to enjoy the summer weather whil sippin’ on some bubbly.

I like Rumba, but I don’t recall if champagne is on the menu; I think it is. Virago, too.

I thought Rumours was overpriced and uncomfortable..

Cafe Luna has a nice patio and it’s a BYOB place so you could bring your own and kick back..
