Another networking site?

It would be nice to take a tour of it before joining instead of getting 'sign up now' almost everywhere you click; however, I do like their privacy policy.

<blockquote cite="Although Ning currently does not have a parent company, any subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under a common control (collectively, “affiliates”), it may in the future. Ning may share some of all of your Personal Data with these affiliates, in which case we will seek to require our affiliates to honor this Privacy Policy....In the event of a change in ownership, or a merger with, acquisition by, or sale of assets to, another entity, we reserve the right to transfer all of Ning">

They actually give users the option to say, 'No, I don't want my information passed on to a company that is in no way bound to honor your 'anti-spam' terms of service.

That's a refreshing reprieve from sudden spam and full inboxes as other sites sell your email, name, first born, ...etc</blockquote>
