Well, I'm not sure Mary305's got their number, but as of now, I'm not a Gigi's fan.

It wasn't horrific or anything, but in categories of cake flavor and icing flavor, a grocery store bakery can keep up pretty well. Admittedly, Gigi's has more flavors and flash, and it was a little fun to stop at a "cup cake shop." Unfortunately, novelty will only get you so far.

Suggesstions:
STEP UP Gigi's! At $33 dollars per dozen, your cupcakes aren't going to compete with $15 from the grocery store!

You've got a cute look and a potentially great niche in Music city, if you can just start offering us something we can't find down the street for less.

These cupcakes are so artificial, you can almost taste the chemicals, and the colors are way too much. Not only that, the filling in them, it's like some kinda of jelliten mix that is gooey and not appetizing, kinda like a nasty jelly filled donut, but cupcake... not what I like at all.

Check out Cuppycakes Bakery instead. At www.cuppycakesbakery.com they are delicious, all natural and no artificial coloring or flavoring. They are the best in Nashville, and I've had them all! Seriously, if you don't believe me, or have only had Gigi's try Cuppycakes to compare and you'll be amazed!
